Where to Play
September 8, 2026 · Foos Central
The best-kept secret in foosball is how easy it is to enter your first tournament. No rating, no partner, no experience required — most weekly events are draw-your-partner formats with handicapping, which means the field is built to give everyone real games. Here are three Florida rooms where it’s happening right now.
Spanx The Hog BBQ & Saloon (147 S Cypress Rd, Pompano Beach) runs a Handicapped Monster DYP every Tuesday at 8:00 PM. Entry is $10, winners take cash, second place gets a $25 gift card to the house, and there’s no table fee and no quarters needed. Great barbecue, better atmosphere, and one of South Florida’s most welcoming rooms for new players.
Lilo’s (701 Lake Ave, Lake Worth) hosts its Handicapped Monster DYP every Thursday at 8:30 PM, with the tables on free play from 8:00 so you can warm up first. Entry is $10 and the winners split the pot. Both South Florida nights are run by the crew at South Florida Foosball — tell them Foos Central sent you.
Up in North Florida, Dart Bar & Games (1261 King St, Jacksonville) is a classic games pub — darts, pool, skeeball, air hockey — and one of the state’s most active foosball tournament rooms, with regular events and monthly leagues, including brackets with $500 on the line. Follow their socials for the next date, and note the room goes 21+ after 9 PM.
A Monster DYP is the perfect first one: partners are drawn at random, handicapping levels the field, and re-draws keep the night social. Show up 30–45 minutes early, get your name in, and warm up. Our how-to-register guide covers everything else — formats, etiquette, and what a bracket night actually looks like.
